Introduction to Ayurveda
Ayurveda = the science of life and longevity
Discover the ancient art of Ayurveda, where mind, body, and spirit unite in perfect harmony.
Embrace the wisdom of this 5,000 year old holistic healing system to guide you on a transformative journey towards optimal health and wellbeing.
Ayurveda seeks to prevent disease, instead of just looking to cure symptoms as is often the case with modern healthcare.
In the heart of Ayurveda, and one of the reasons I love it so much, is the belief that each individual is unique and so is their path to healing and wellbeing.
Ayurveda sees each person as simultaneously unique and a vital part of nature.
It sees health and wellbeing as a state of being and having a balance and harmony with our internal and external environments.
Ayurveda considers each person as a whole, determining that much of the disease we experience in the body, starts as ‘dis-ease’ in the mind.
Ayurveda will not just look at acute physical symptoms, but your whole being = your digestive systems, the amount of ojas (vital essence) you currently have, your relationships, your food choices, lifestyle and the health of your mind, body and spirit- as all are likely to have an impact on your external (physical) body.
Ayurveda works to balance a person’s energies by observing whether certain energies are dominant or depleted, potentially causing imbalance or illness.
A person's Dosha is what creates and influences their physical body type and their personality type. The three doshas are called Vata, Pitta and Kapha and they are made up of the five elements that are found in all living things and natural world around us. Each Dosha is a combination of two of these elements and each are more dominant around us according to the Season;
Each person has their own energetic system, known as their unique Dosha.

A holistic, healing journey
My intention is to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, clarify your vision and move with confidence and clarity towards the changes you want to see.
Despite how much our lives resemble a technology driven, 24/7, artificially flavoured phenomenon, we still have the same brains, bodies and nervous systems humans had several thousands of years ago. Ayurveda works to balance a person’s energies by observing whether certain energies are dominant or depleted, potentially causing imbalance or illness.
I offer both a 3 months and a year round seasonal wellbeing journey including 4 consultations tailored to each season.
The change of seasons is a vulnerable time for us and as each season is governed by an element we can often get out of balance.
I have found using the foundations of Ayurveda but applying it to a modern day approach has enabled me to live with more awareness, flow and ease. Let me be your guide…
From Spring’s rejuvenation to Winter’s introspection, immerse yourself in ayurvedic wisdom and energy balancing techniques guided by me and tailored to your modern lifestyle.
Cultivate harmony and vitality as you navigate the unique needs of your mind and body throughout the changing seasons.

I’ve followed Cait’s journey as a yoga teacher and ayurveda practitioner for some time, so when I saw she was offering one to one consultation sessions, it felt like just the thing I needed. It was perfect timing with various changes in life and starting to hit that time of my life where things start changing and shifting, and also feeling worn out and tired a lot of the time.
What I learnt and got from the sessions was brilliant and really enlightening. Cait’s enthusiasm really shone through, especially when she was explaining how embracing the ayurvedic way has changed her life.
The sessions were well planned and themed, with some great thinking ‘homework’ set for some sessions. So much I learnt and took away wasn’t about huge life changes or totally rethinking things, but little shifts to fit with me and my dosha type. So many things made more sense about why and how I do what I do and that a lot it is just ‘me’.
Each session was built around the elements just as I needed them, looking at yoga, breathing, tapping and ayurveda, food (not so much ‘diet’ but what and how and when to eat) and how to make the best of the day by doing the right things at the right time. It all made so much sense and really clicked.
The sessions introduced me to so many small shifts and nudges - drinking warm lemon water at the start of the day, ‘winter’ and ‘summer’ foods, breathing techniques to refocus and rebalance, all very easy to bring into my daily life without huge disruption, but bringing great benefits.
I would highly recommend Cait to take you on this journey of ayurvedic learning and exploration - I learnt a lot about myself and how to make the best of my day and time and feel better in what I do. So much made more sense and I felt a real shift in my wellbeing and self contentment after the work with Cait, and often by making small changes that made me feel much better. She genuinely lives and breathes ayurveda and the benefit for her shows!
The sessions with Cait were a genuine self- exploration and meant I am better equipped to stop, think and pause and refocus quickly and easily with the tips and tools I learnt, something so important in this hectic world where we don’t unplug and slow down enough.
